Members connect with fellow researchers who understand the joys and challenges of genealogy, share knowledge freely, and celebrate discoveries together. By joining, you support a welcoming environment where experience is shared, questions are encouraged, and volunteers work side-by-side to preserve local history and assist researchers of all levels. Membership is an opportunity to give back, build meaningful connections, and help ensure that genealogical knowledge and records remain available for future generations.

Membership benefits:
- Members may check out books from the Humble House Library
- Members may utilize the book scanner
- Members have access to scanned clippings shared online
Join Us!
- To join online, scroll down to select the membership plan on the drop-down menu, and then click the Next button.
- Complete the new member form pages, clicking the Next button after completing each page.
- Select the payment method you want to use; online using a credit card via Stripe or your PayPal account, or check mailed to SIGS, or cash or check delivered to SIGS. For online payments, if you do not have a PayPal account, please use Stripe.
- Review the information you entered, then click the Confirm and Check Out button.
- On the next page, click to save/print the Order Confirmation with transaction number. If paying online, you will need this if your payment method fails. If paying by check or cash, you will need to provide this along with your payment to enable SIGS to activate your membership. Please see our contact page for the address to mail a check or drop-off a check or exact cash.
- If paying with Stripe or PayPal, follow the directions on the screen to pay with a credit card via Stripe or to log onto your PayPal account and complete your transaction.
- If your transaction is NOT successful, do not attempt to join again nor initiate another transaction. Instead, mail your printed Order Confirmation with transaction number along with a check to the Sno-Isle Genealogical Society.
If you need assistance completing your online application, please come into the Humble House during open hours and a volunteer will assist you.
