Whether you're a seasoned family history expert, an intermediate researcher, or just starting your genealogical journey, the Sno-Isle Genealogical Society is here to help you. We are a not-for-profit, all-volunteer organization committed to advancing genealogical research through education, materials, and a thriving community.
Located in the historic Humble House at Heritage Park in Lynnwood, WA, we invite you to explore your roots with us. Our doors are open from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on Thursdays and Saturdays, and on the second Tuesday of the month, providing you with a welcoming space to delve into your family's history. In addition to our regular research library hours, we host a variety of educational events and activities both at our location and online. The Sno-Isle Genealogical Society is devoted exclusively to furthering genealogical research and promoting interest in family history.
● Promoting Discovery: We are dedicated to furthering genealogical research and fostering a deep interest in family history.
● Providing Resources: We maintain a reference library of historical books, newspapers, and archives to support your search.
● Advancing Education: We host educational classes and meetings designed to sharpen your research skills.
● Preserving History: We compile, print, and distribute valuable materials to help ensure family legacies are shared with future generations.
● Serving the Community: We operate as a structured non-profit focused entirely on our educational and charitable mission.
General Meetings
The Society’s General Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month, September through June (no meetings in July or August). Meetings are held in the Wicker’s Building located in Lynnwood’s Heritage Park. The meeting is also lived streamed via Zoom whenever possible. Board Meetings
The SIGS Board meets on the 2nd Tuesday of August through May (no board meeting in June or July) on Zoom at 7:00 p.m. All members are invited to attend. Please email askus@snoislegenealogy.org for details
The Sno-Isle Genealogical Society is eligible to receive tax-deductible charitable contributions.
SIGS produces a monthly newsletter during its operating year.
